About Refine Treatments
My name is Emaleen. I am a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and I have been working within rehabilitation for 10 years, however I also have many years treating and caring for someone with a spinal cord injury.
Due to my professional and personal experience, I believe my approach is much more valuable. I have first-hand knowledge of what patient and family member experience and my goal is to achieve the best possible outcome and ease any concerns.
I work alongside my patients, family members and when needed their support carers to make day to day activities easier.
I am aware of the difficulties surrounding travel, whether that’s waiting for transport or relying on someone else, therefore, my treatments take place in your own home environment. This allows me to tailor my approach to your individual needs whilst giving you the upmost care and attention.
I specialise in Neurological Rehabilitation that focuses on treatment for people with brain, spinal cord or nerve injuries as a result of previous trauma or medical conditions.
I am also a fully licenced Massage therapist and qualified in muscle and soft tissue treatments. These treatments are to aid painful or inflexible areas, these should improve mobility and ease any pain.
